One of my favorite activities? You guessed it, planning outfits for Disney trips! Whether I'm planning for an upcoming trip or feeling inspired by characters, a movie, or other Disney creators, there's a good chance I have a slew of outfits already concocted in my head, waiting to be seen out and about at one of the parks.
This past March, with a suitcase full of sequins, Minnie Mouse ear headbands, and floral print, I headed down to sunny Orlando, FL to celebrate my friend's birthday at the Most Magical Place on Earth. We had this trip planned for about 10 months, so I had my outfits ready to go for a solid nine months before I left. However, it was so difficult to narrow down my ideas.

Disney's Animal Kingdom
After hopping off the plane at 9 a.m., meeting up with my friend, and then making a pit stop at Art of Animation, we headed over to Disney's Animal Kingdom.
I'll be honest, when I go to DAK, I'm always a little stumped on what to wear. I'm not a fan of wearing animal print, which is always what comes to mind when I think of outfits for this park. However, this was my first trip with my floral print Loungefly backpack and I was determined to create an outfit around it. So, I thought, "Flowers are in nature, DAK has a lot of trees....floral is it is!"
To match my backpack, I chose a romper I had from the brand Breath of Youth that happened to have the same print as my bag. For the evening when it got cooler, I brought along my light pink cardigan from the brand Grace Karin, which can be found on Amazon. To complete the look, I wore my floral print Skechers D'Lites. This look was so comfortable, I'd definitely recommend it for a park day.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is usually the park I have way too many outfit ideas for. I got the 50th Anniversary Small World Minnie ears since my last trip, and could not wait to wear them. So, what better place to wear them than the park that's home to "It's A Small World?"
To match the ears I wore a lilac colored dress by BCBG Max Azria, which ended up matching perfectly. This was actually the dress I wore to The Eras Tour last summer when I did a Speak Now look, so I was really excited to have an occasion to wear it again. I know people have thoughts about bubble skirts, but I think they're so fun! Then, to go along with the pastel colors, I wore my colorful sneakers from Skechers, and finished off the look with my Rapunzel 10th Anniversary Loungefly backpack.
EPCOT
The Flower & Garden festival, (aka my favorite Disney festival) was going on during my trip, so I was extremely excited to go to EPCOT. Plus, I knew I wanted to wear an outfit loaded with florals on this day.
To start, I based my outfit around this Hill House maxi skirt I scored at their sample sale last summer. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal? I paired the skirt with a solid pink crop top from Zara. When I was deciding what ears to wear, I realized my pink flower ears from the Disney Store were a match made in heaven. To finish off the look, I wore the same floral Loungefly bag and sneakers I wore to DAK.
Hollywood Studios
When I think about Hollywood Studios, I automatically think of the glitz and glam of Sunset Boulevard and the fancy outfits Mickey and Minnie wear at their meet and greet in the park, so these shiny ears felt like the perfect accessory to be worn here.
I wanted to emphasize the gold print and sequin bow on my ears, so I got a gold sequin skirt from Amazon, which ended up matching perfectly. I paired it with my black leotard, which funny enough, is the leotard I actually wear to ballet. I originally wanted to wear my black flats with this outfit, but I knew since I'd be walking all day, sneakers were the way to go. Another Disney day, another day wearing D'Lites. To finish off this outfit, I accessorized with a black Karl Lagerfeld backpack I got from T.J Maxx.
Brunch and Disney Springs
For our last day at Disney, we made a quick trip to Disney Springs in the morning, went to my favorite brunch spot at The Grand Floridian, and then resort hopped on the monorail to The Polynesian.
I decided to wear my floral print, ruffled Lilly Pulitzer dress! I got this dress during my trip to Charleston last September. I love the pattern and vibrant colors of this dress, so I felt like it was the perfect outfit for this day. I accessorized with a light pink hair bow and the same floral sneakers I wore throughout my trip.
A trip to The Grand Floridian calls for a coordinating bag. This was the perfect time to finally breakout my GF Loungefly bag. I mean, how cute his this pattern?! Plus, I love how the blue in the bag coordinated so well with the blue in my dress.
Planning outfits for Disney trips is so exciting to me. I love when I can finally wear the outfits I've been envisioning in my head to the parks. I'd love to know, do you have a go-to Disney outfit, or an outfit you're planning on wearing next time you go to Disney World?
